These are our Terms and Conditions. They were revised on 10th April 2008. We would ask that you please read carefully.

Please note: It as come to our attention an older version of our terms and conditions has recently been published for a short period. Please re-read our latest terms and conditions below as published on the 10th of April 2008.

These terms and conditions will be updated from time to time. Each time they have been amended, you will have to log on and accept the most recent updated terms and conditions. The date that these terms and conditions were last updated shall be indicated on the Terms and Conditions page of the website and acceptance of it is mandatory.

Carefully read these terms and conditions before registering with SoloCheck.ie. Once registered with SoloCheck, it is an acknowledgement that you have read these terms and conditions and agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not register with SoloCheck.ie.

Definitions

"Solocheck.ie" is a service provided by VisionNet Limited.

"SoloCheck.ie account" means any account issued to the User by SoloCheck.ie through which a search may be carried out.

"SoloCheck.ie Search" means all search services provided by SoloCheck.ie.

"Terms" means the terms and conditions set out in this agreement governing the provision and use of the website and the search.

"Account" means the User account established by SoloCheck.ie.

"User" means the individual, company or organisation that is using SoloCheck.ie or the website.

"CRO" means Companies Registration Office.

"Login Details" means the username and password provided to the User to access a SoloCheck.ie search.

"SoloCheck.ie" means the website SoloCheck.ie, SoloCheck.com or any other derivatives.

"Database" means the data content and software on the website SoloCheck.ie.

Terms of Usage

VisionNet Limited agree to allow the User to access the information contained on this website. This information is received from a variety of sources, which include the Companies Registration Office, The UK Companies House, NI Company Registers and possibly others. All usage is therefore governed in turn by those organisations Terms and Conditions of trading, which you are also agreeing to be bound by.

Electronic Communications

When you register with SoloCheck.ie you are opting in to receive communications from us electronically usually by email. You may opt out at any time. From time to time we will send you update notices of your previously searched companies, as well as information about SoloCheck.ie and Vision-net.ie site amendments and additional services. We communicate with you the User in two ways, by either e-mail or by posting notices on the site.

From time to time we may also write to you in letter format. In using or visiting SoloCheck.ie you are agreeing that all notices, and communications that we provide to you electronically or otherwise, satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

Users should be aware that unprotected e-mail communication via the Internet is not secure and it is subject to possible interception, loss or alteration. SoloCheck.ie is not responsible for and will not be liable to the User or anyone else for any damages in connection with any email sent by the User to SoloCheck.ie or an e-mail by SoloCheck.ie / Vision-net.ie to the User or anyone else at the Users request.

The information contained in this site has been supplied largely by the CRO, which in turn was supplied by or on behalf of companies, pursuant to statutory obligation. The CRO, UK Companies House, and NI Company Registers are some of the main suppliers of this data, they do not, and cannot, vouch for the accuracy of such information. SoloCheck.ie shall not be responsible for the consequences of any errors or omissions in the information held on its Database.

User Obligations

Log in passwords are personal to the User and should not be shared with third parties. The User is responsible for the safekeeping of their password. VisionNet Limited are not responsible for any loss or damage suffered by a User as a result of other parties accessing the website using their passwords. Both companies will be indemnified against any loss incurred by them as a result of such use.

The User shall notify SoloCheck.ie in writing of any change in the information provided for the SoloCheck.ie account.

This site or any portion of this site may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, visited or other wise exploited for any commercial purpose without the express written permission of VisionNet Limited. You may not frame or utilize any framing techniques to enclose any trademark, logo or other proprietary information or SoloCheck.ie without our express written permission. Nor may you facilitate a third party to do so.

The User acknowledges that records accessed through SoloCheck.ie will be as up to date as the date stamp at the bottom right hand side of the Solocheck.ie website. This date will also appear on the bottom of each Company Report or Business Name report purchased.

Links and Advertisements

Links to or from web sites and resources may be provided on our site. These links are provided solely as a convenience to the User of this site and not as an endorsement of the contents of such third-party sites. We suggest you read the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policies of these websites before using or visiting them. No responsibility will be accepted by VisionNet Limited for the service or advertisement placed or provided through our website.

Fees & Refunds

VisionNet Limited reserve the right to charge a fee and such fees may be amended from time to time. Users will be notified one month in advance of any fee increase through site notices and emails.

Due to the nature of the information supplied, Solocheck.ie does not operate a policy of refunds. An exception to this is in the case of a technical problem with the delivery of a report or document. In such cases a refund request may be accepted if requested in writing within 7 days of date of purchase payment. After this time no refunds will be permitted. As and from the 1st day of June 2008, if the User has not accessed his User account for a period in excess of one year, the balance of any funds remaining in the User's account shall be used for the benefit of VisionNet Limited.

Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by delivering written notice of your decision to do so 14 days prior to the effective date of termination. The User must pay all unpaid search fees before termination of the account. Unused credit values at date of termination will be used for the benefit of VisionNet Limited. If there is no chargeable transaction on an account over a 12-month period, the credit value will expire.

In the event of a customer terminating their Solocheck.ie account, the User will agree to pay any unpaid search fees not covered by their credit balance.

Disclaimer

VisionNet Limited believes the information is accurate but it is not guaranteed. VisionNet Limited accept no responsibility for any loss, damage, expense, or any delay in providing updated information or inconvenience suffered by a customer as a result of a Users use or interpretation of, or reliance upon, any information (be it accurate of otherwise) provided from this website.

Solocheck.ie reserves the right to suspend the website and or search in the event of a technical difficulty without notice Solocheck.ie will make every effort to ensure that in any disruption will be kept to an absolute minimum.

VisionNet Limited are not responsible for the content of any material in any format, furnished to or accessed by a User, which the User accessed through using this website.

The contents of this website are provided as an information guide only from a number of sources and partners. With regard to Company Searches, it should be noted that the information contained on the various Registers in relation to Companies or Directors, Business Names and Limited partnerships has been supplied to the relevant Company Registries by third parties. These Third parties have supplied it pursuant to statutory obligation, including the obligation not to knowingly or recklessly supply false information. As such we cannot vouch for the accuracy of the information which has been supplied by third parties. VisionNet Limited shall not be responsible for the consequences of any error or omission in the information held on this database.

If any provision of these terms and conditions shall be held to be illegal or unenforceable by a court or authority of competent jurisdiction, these terms and conditions shall be given effect to in such reduced or amended form as shall result in them not being illegal or unenforceable and the provisions hereof shall be regarded as severable accordingly.

General

Use of Solocheck.ie shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Irish law on Contracts for the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services. If any provision of these terma and conditions of use is declared by a Court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, such provision shall be severed from the license and the other provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
