Q) What is SoloCheck.ie?
Solocheck.ie is an internet based service which allows you carry out 'one-off' checks on any Irish companies with the minimum of fuss. It gives you immediate online access to information on every Irish company and Irish Director ever registered.
Q) What Information is available on Solocheck.ie?
Solocheck.ie gives you access to free brief reports on every Irish company. It then lets you buy a more comprehensive report on any company for just €6 or on any Director for just €4
You can also shop for any document that companies have filed in the Companies Registration Office... like their latest Financial Accounts or Annual Returns, any changes in their shareholding, registered office or Directors. All documents filed since 1998 are available to add to your basket and cost just €6.

Q) How up to date will the information be?
Solocheck.ie is up-dated on a daily basis, making company documents and analysed accounts that have just been scanned in the CRO available to view or print immediately. Each night the main database is updated with details of newly incorporated companies and the very latest filings of companies. All information displayed on Solocheck is sourced directly from the CRO.
Q) How and when can I view the reports I buy?
Almost immediately. Simply add the reports you would like to your basket and pay by credit card and you'll be to view the reports on-screen straightaway. We'll also email a copy of them to you (to the address you signed up with), so you have a copy for your records. We'll keep a live copy available in your Solocheck.ie 'My Docs' tab for 7 days so you can re-access them during that time, as often as you like at no extra charge. Director reports are both emailed and displayed in html format. Company reports and company documents are available to view in PDF format which you can view with Adobe Reader. Adobe Reader can be downloaded for free from here.
Q) How do I open a Solocheck.ie account and how much does it cost?
Opening a Solocheck.ie account is completely free. We ask for the minimum of information and once your account is created you can sign in and view free brief reports on any Irish company. Once you've signed in the free brief reports will also list all the documents that a company has filed with the CRO. Here they're available for you to buy.
Q) 'Free Company Alerts' how do these work?
Solocheck.ie gives you the option to add an 'Alert Me Of Changes' to any company you're viewing a brief report on. By clicking this, you'll be alerted by email the next time a new document becomes available on this company in the CRO. This could be any document from their latest set of financial statements, to movements in their directors or owners... but we'll let you know. This service is completely free and you only pay for the actual document if you decide you'd like a copy of it.
This service ensures that you will never again miss an important announcement or financial result in your chosen companies - even if you're away from the office for a time.

Yes, simply perform a search as normal, and business name results will also be displayed (scroll down). You can also view a list of all Normal Status Irish Businesses List.
Q) Do you have information on UK Companies?
Yes we do have information on all United Kingdom companies. Select the UK flag and enter the company name or number. You can also view our most popular Active status UK Companies List.
Q) Do you have information on UK Directors?
Yes we do. Select the UK flag and enter the surname of the director. You will be presented with a list containing the closest matches. There are links to more UK directors at the bottom of the UK director search results page.
